Fly Fishing In Thailand
Mahseer fishing in thailand

Weather

Mae Hong Son follows almost the same weather patterns as Chiang Mai. The climate is Sub Tropical and not as humid and hot as central or South Thailand. The rainy season normally starts in mid May and ends mid October. November through till March offers splendid temperatures in the daytime though temperatures in December and January at night can be very surprising for those not pre-warned with the mercury dropping as low as +5 Celsius at night in towns above 600 meters. We recommend you to bring a warm sweater or fleece lined jacket with you. Mae Hong Son (The City of Three Mists) is nestled in a deep valley hemmed in by high mountain ranges
