Guided Custom Fly Fishing Trips

Multi-day jungle camping trips from Hua Hin

Multi-day camping trips with departure from Bangkok, Cha Am or Hua Hin to a fantastic Mahseer River on the Thai-Burma border west of Hua Hin. To get to the river you will travel with an air-conditioned Toyota 4 wheel drive vehicle up trough a pristine rain forest with stunning views and walk down a 4.5 km jungle track to reach the river. All fly fishing equipment (including flies and leaders), camping gear, all meals and drinking water is included and you will be guided by an experienced English speaking fly fishing guide. The river is holding some of the biggest Mahseer we have seen in Thailand, you will spot big fish here in almost every pool, hooking them can be easy but landing them is another thing, you have to be prepared to run after the big fish downstream after hooking them (sometimes hundreds of meters).
We recommend that you wear green or dark colored clothes so you not spook the shy fish. The fishing is mandatory catch and release, and your guide will help you to take photos of your catch before being released. You need to be in good shape to be able to do the trekking; overweight's or anglers with other medical conditions may find the trekking hard. At night we camp riverside and you will sleep in a tent.
